CAPALDI'S 'SOMEONE YOU LOVED' FILMED IN OUR BUILDING

This video for Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Someone You Loved’ was filmed in Buxton in 2019 and some of the scenes were shot inside The Park Apartments.

The heart-breaking video features Peter Capaldi caring for his wife in her final days, and captures the moment he meets the recipient of his late wife’s heart, having received it through a transplant.

Speaking to the Buxton Advertiser, the video’s director Phil Beastall mentioned that the crew settled on Buxton as the filming location as producer Dom Murgia grew up in the town.

Lewis Capaldi partnered with Save9Lives in launch of his bestselling single.

The Someone You Loved record was dramatized to illustrate the life-saving impact of organ donation, with Peter Capaldi playing a lead role.

This Save9lives campaign featured alongside Live Life Give Life for the release. Those inspired by the video can sign the NHS organ donor register with Save9Lives, allowing us to register how many people are inspired by Lewis’ sensational work.

"The owner has thought of everything and provided a lovely welcome package. We didn't need to rush out on arrival to get a cuppa. The apartment is very spotless, comfortable with plenty of room for 6 adults. Location is convenient and quiet, adjacent to spring gardens and the pavillion. No car required for pooles cavern, walks, food and drink and is only a short walk to the train station. Couldn't ask for more."
